NOAA PACIFIC REGION CENTER
Real-world projects require real-time integration. Studio2a collaborated with members of HOK’s San Francisco based architectural design team to produce 3d architectural renderings and animation for the new NOAA Pacific Region Center. The challenge was to create presentation quality images of the new facility while it was still being designed.
Due to their thorough understanding of the architectural process, Studio2a was able to integrate with the project team for real-time collaboration. Working side-by-side with the designers, Studio2a incorporated the latest details into 3d images as they became available. The rendering process was fast-tracked so the imagery would finish shortly after decisions were made, requiring Studio2a to set up for multiple views of seven separate large-scale scenes before the details were complete. In the end, over 27 interior and exterior 3d architectural renderings were created along with over four minutes of computer animation.
