Educational institutions may not have been built for sports, but sports have certainly helped build collegiate institutions.  You cannot deny the impact college athletics have had on education, culture, and the lives of student-athletes.  Now that the NCCA has allowed athletes to profit from names, images, and likenesses, the demand for superior athletic facilities will only increase.  Sports facilities are capital-intensive projects that require cooperation from many stakeholders.   Design communication between the team is key and high-quality 3d animation supports this effort.  Sport architectural animation is almost an art form in itself that is receiving its own recognition.  Now coined "vaportecture" by sports journalist Neil deMause, or the art of sports architecture - was probably created, in part, by the work Studio2a did with a few sports architect clients some 20 years ago.
